RevMor.ca is an online information resource. Reverse mortgages are arranged by RateStreet Financial Ltd., a licensed mortgage brokerage, together with its licensed brokerage network partners where applicable. "We"/"our" below means RateStreet Financial Ltd.

The offer

For qualifying reverse mortgages arranged by RateStreet Financial Ltd., we will reimburse — as a rebate paid after your reverse mortgage funds — the cost of (a) the lender-required home appraisal and (b) your independent legal advice (ILA). The rebate covers the actual, documented amounts you paid for those two items. This is a broker-provided incentive, not a discount applied at closing, and it is not cash, income, or a reduction of your loan.

Who qualifies — conditions

  • Minimum initial advance of $300,000 on the funded reverse mortgage.
  • Paid as a rebate after closing/funding — not upfront. You pay the appraisal and legal costs as normal, then we reimburse the documented amounts.
  • Receipts required — reimbursement is of actual, documented appraisal and ILA fees.
  • One rebate per client, per property.
  • Available to qualifying Canadian homeowners served by RateStreet Financial Ltd. and its licensed brokerage network. (Final eligibility confirmed at application.)
  • Cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or lender credit that covers the same appraisal or legal costs.
  • The reverse mortgage must be arranged and funded by RateStreet Financial Ltd.; the offer is void if the file is transferred to or closed by another brokerage.
  • The offer may be changed or withdrawn at any time before you submit your application; the terms in effect on your application date apply.

How to claim

After your reverse mortgage funds, send your appraisal and legal-fee receipts to your RateStreet advisor. The rebate is paid by cheque or e-transfer within 30 days of receiving valid receipts.
